Situated on a leafy late Victorian street, with a walnut tree in the car park, West Parade Dental Care began life as a 19th-century stable block. For much of the 20th century, however, it operated as a medical centre, becoming a dental practice in 1970.
Today, our dedicated team serves a community of more than 20,000 patients and with our continued investment, our eyes are firmly on the future.
Extended, refurbished, comfortable and accessible, the practice holds seven surgeries and is fitted with state-of-the-art equipment, including a high-tech CBCT 3D scanner.

A Relaxed Environment
At West Parade Dental Care, we strive to make the patient experience as calm and stress-free as possible.
Our waiting room has been modernised along with the patient toilets and reception area in order to improve the patient experience and create a relaxing environment. We particularly welcome nervous or anxious patients – with trained staff on hand to help diminish and eradicate any fear of the dentist.
Over recent years, we have refurbished our sterilisation area and invested heavily in modern equipment to ensure compliance with new Department of Health guidelines for infection control – so you can be sure that everything is operating to the highest standards behind the scenes, too.

Accessibility & Parking
Due to the nature of our building, not all rooms at West Parade Dental Care are accessible to wheelchairs. However, dentists will be happy to see patients in a ground-floor surgery. Please inform the receptionist when booking your appointment.
The practice is located in a resident-only parking area and, therefore, parking is limited close by. We have a small car park which is available for patients on a first-come first-served basis. We do not accept any responsibility for any loss or damage to vehicles or contents whilst parked in our car park. In view of the limited amount of parking available, please allow plenty of time before your appointment to ensure that you can park.
Appointments & Emergencies
For routine check-ups or follow-up appointments, please call or email our team.
For emergency appointments, please call at 8.00am, we will try and accommodate you, although this may not be with your usual dentist.
Missed Appointments
Missed appointments waste time and resources, which are needed for other patients. Our policy is that if, on more than one occasion, patients cancel with less than 24 hours’ notice, or do not attend an appointment, then we reserve the right not to offer treatment (NHS or Private) in the future. We will of course take any special circumstances into account. A charge may be made for missed private appointments, including those arranged with our hygienist.
